Heath bar candy
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar
- water - 3 Tbsp
- chocolate chips - 2 c
- dark Karo syrup - 3 Tbsp
- chopped almonds
- sticks oleo not corn oil - 3 item
How to make heath bar candy:
Grease 10 x 15-inch pan. Spread 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips on pan. Melt oleo. Add sugar, syrup and water. Cook to hard crack stage. Add nuts slowly; mix rapidly. Spread over chips. Top candy with 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Soften and spread chips over candy. Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped almonds over top of chocolate.
