Hearty italian soup
Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 3/4 tsp
- can tomatoes, cut up - 28 oz
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans water - 2 oz
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- mild Italian sausage - 1 lb
- or 3 cubes chicken bouillon - 1 Tbsp
- small shaped macaroni rings or shells - 3/4 c
- shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar - 1 item
How to make hearty italian soup:
Brown sausage, green pepper and onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in macaroni, cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with cheese sprinkled on top.Tip: Use link Italian sausage cut into 1/2-inch slices.
