Hazelnut brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 6 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- unsweetened chocolate - 4 oz
- Hazelnuts or Filberts, chopped - 2/3 c
How to make hazelnut brownies:
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate. In a medium sized bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Mix in vanilla and melted chocolate.In a small bowl, stir together flour and salt and then stir into the sugar mixture. Add nuts and chocolate chips (optional). Spoon into a greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake in preheated 375° oven about 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. Yields 16 to 24.
