Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2/3 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- finely shredded coconut - 1/2 c
- well drained pineapple - 3/4 c
- Clabber Girl - 2 tsp
How to make hawaiian drop cookies:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt; cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Beat in egg until mixture is fluffy. Blend in pineapple and dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet 3 inches apart. Sprinkle with coconut. Bake in a 325° oven for about 20 minutes.
