Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/4 c
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • coconut
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • sifted flour - 1 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • Topping:2 eggs
  • 2 can pineapple

How to make hawaiian cake:

Topping:2 eggs1 c. sugar3 Tbsp. butter1 1/2 c. coconut No. 2 can pineapple Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Add flour and baking powder. Put batter in greased 8-inch square pan.

Topping: Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar gradually. Stir in butter and coconut. Drain pineapple and spread over batter. Pour topping evenly over pineapple. Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
