Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- medium onion, diced - 1/2 item
- grated cheese - 8 oz
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- hash brown potatoes - 2 lb
How to make hash brown casserole:
Mix the first 3 ingredients and spread in an 11 x 15-inch oblong pan. Combine in a bowl the next 3 ingredients. Spread on top of potato mixture. Crush 2 cups potato chips or corn flakes and put on top of mixture. Dot with 1/2 stick margarine. Bake 1 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
