- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- apples - 6 item
- red cinnamon candies red hots - 1/4 c
- pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
How to make harvest apple pie:
Pare apples and slice thin. In a large bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch, spices and salt; mix with apples. Roll out less than a half the dough between two pieces of waxed paper.
