Dried apricot pie
Ingredients/Components
- dried apricots - 1 lb
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cornstarch
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- pastry for two 9-inch pie crusts
How to make dried apricot pie:
Soak apricots overnight in refrigerator. Combine remaining ingredients and add apricots. Cook all together in microwave oven for 10 minutes, then let cool a while before you put in the pie crust. Put a few pieces of oleo on top, then cover with top crust. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375° until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
