Ingredients/Components
- granulated sugar - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/3 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- beet juice - 1/3 c
- can sliced beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Mix all ingredients except the beets and margarine. Over a low heat, cook until boiling. Add sliced beets and simmer until thoroughly heated. Remove from heat and add margarine. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
