Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/8 c
- vinegar - 1/8 c
- butter optional - 1 Tbsp
- sliced or diced, cooked beets - 2 c
How to make harvard beets:
In saucepan, mix cornstarch, sugar, vinegar and water. Boil 5 minutes. Stir with a wooden spoon. Add beets and simmer until beets are hot. Add butter, if desired.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
