Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- small cooked beets - 12 item
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch. Add water and vinegar. Boil for 5 minutes. Add cooked beets. Let stand over low heat for 30 minutes. Just before serving, bring to boiling point and add butter.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
