- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cooked beets - 1 can
How to make harvard beets:
Mix sugar and cornstarch; add water and vinegar. Boil 5 minutes. Drain beets; add. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until beets are heated. Add butter, margarine or salad oil; season with salt and pepper.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
