Hamburger stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- minced onions - 1/2 c
- commercial sour cream - 1 c
- can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 item
- can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted - 1 item
- snipped parsley, chives or fresh dill - 1 item
How to make hamburger stroganoff:
Saute onion in butter until golden. Add beef, garlic, flour, salt, pepper and paprika; saute 5 minutes (until beef is cooked). Add soups; simmer, uncovered, about 8 to 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with parsley. Serve on noodles, mashed potatoes, fluffy rice or toast.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Ground beef, Beef.
