Ham and potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- grated cheese - 1 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- raw sliced potatoes - 2 3
- sliced or chipped ham, cooked - 2 3
How to make ham and potato casserole:
Mix cornstarch with cold milk until smooth. Add salt, pepper and margarine. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 1 minute. Place ham in bottom of casserole dish. Top with potatoes and cheese. Pour white sauce over top. Bake at 350° for approximately 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.Note: May add grated onion, if desired.
