Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 3 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- regular grits - 1 c
How to make grits casserole:
Pour the grits into boiling water to which salt has been added. Mix well, and cook until thickened. Add the butter, beaten eggs, milk and cheese. Stir thoroughly and place in a greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 350° about 30 minutes. Yields 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Main dish, Casseroles.
