Garlic cheese grits
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- Velveeta cheese, cut in cubes - 2 c
- grits - 1 c
How to make garlic cheese grits:
Boil water; add salt and slowly add grits (while stirring). Keep stirring until thick. Turn fire down and add stick of butter. Melt. Add cheese in cubes and garlic salt. Let melt; stir and then cool. Set in refrigerator several hours or overnight.Crack 2 eggs into cup. Beat with fork. Add enough milk to fill cup. Add to cooled mixture. Pour into dish. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
