Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- milk
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder
- butter, melted - 4 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make griddle cakes:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together. Beat egg until light; add milk and melted butter. Then add liquid mixture to flour, stirring well to make a smooth batter (use rotary beater). Preheat griddle on large unit (grill or frypan) for 3 to 5 minutes and grease with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of shortening.
