Green pepper steak
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- medium green bell peppers, cut in strips - 2 item
- chuck steak, cut in 2-inch strips
How to make green pepper steak:
Brown steak in oil in large skillet, stirring frequently. Add soup mix and 2 cups of water; cover. Simmer for 30 minutes. Stir green peppers into steak mixture. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Blend cornstarch with 1/2 cup of water. Add to mixture in skillet. Cook until thickened. Serve with rice or riced potatoes.
