Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- can bean sprouts - 1 item
- medium tomatoes, quartered - 4 item
- green peppers, cut into chunks - 3 item
- steak, cut into 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch strips - 2 lb
How to make pepper steak:
Put oil, meat, spices and sugar in skillet. Brown meat. Cover, stirring, until tender. Add soy sauce, green peppers, bean sprouts and onion. Cook, covered, about 5 minutes longer. Make paste of cornstarch and water. Add to mixture. Cook until thick. Serve over cooked rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
