Green pea salad
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise
- grated cheddar cheese
- head shredded lettuce - 1/2 item
- can Lesueur green peas, drained - 1 item
- bottle Hormel bacon bits - 1 oz
How to make green pea salad:
Prepare in 8 or 9 inch casserole dish. Layer lettuce, pepper, celery, and onion. Sprinkle on brown sugar; add peas. Spread on mayonnaise. Top with cheese and bacon bits. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours before serving. This recipe can be doubled.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, Side dish.
