  • graham cracker crumbs - 4 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • coconut
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking powder - 2 Tbsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beat well

How to make graham cracker cake:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Mix baking powder and cracker crumbs. Add to mixture, alternating with milk, beating well. After each addition, beat 2 minutes. Add vanilla and coconut. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes in greased and floured cake pans. Makes 3 layers.Icing:1/2 c. margarine1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained2 Tbsp. flour1 box powdered sugar1 c. coconut1/2 c. nuts Melt oleo, add flour and stir well. Add pineapple and cook until thick. Add sugar, nuts and coconut. Spread between, on top and sides of each layer of cake.
