Ingredients/Components

• Crisco - 1 c
• white sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• flour - 4 c
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• soda - 2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• cocoa - 1/2 c
• sour milk - 1 c
• boiling water - 1 c
• Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa
• milk - 1 c
• 10x sugar - 2 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make gobs:

Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cocoa. Add sour milk and boiling water. Grease and flour cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 400°.Filling for Gobs:6 Tbsp. flour1 c. milk2 c. 10x sugar1 c. Crisco1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp. vanilla Cook flour and milk until thick and cool thoroughly. Add flour and milk mixture to remaining ingredients and cream together until light and fluffy. Put between Gobs that are completely cooled.
