Glazed carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- carrots - 2 lb
- salt to taste - 1 item
- apricot preserves - 1/4 c
How to make glazed carrots:
Wash and scrape carrots; cut in diagonal slices. Cook, covered, in small amount of water until just tender (approximately 12 minutes). Drain. Heat margarine, sugar and preserves in saucepan, stirring to combine. Stir into carrots until coated. Cook over low heat, stirring gently about 3 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
