Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- egg yolks - 6 item
- baking soda
- heavy cream - 1/2 pt
- egg - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- sifted flour
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- whiskey - 1 Tbsp
- unbleached sifted flour
- 1-inch cube peeled, fresh ginger - 1 item
How to make gingersnaps:
Mix all ingredients. Add more flour if needed to make workable dough. Take lump of dough about the size of a grapefruit and roll it out very thin. Cut into strips about 2 x 6-inch (accuracy not important). In center of each strip, cut about 1 1/2-inchRecipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
