Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour
- sugar - 1/2 c
- softened butter - 1/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- light molasses - 1/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- sweetened whipped cream - 1 item
How to make gingerbread:
Heat oven to 325°. In small bowl combine all ingredients except whipped cream. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes). Pour into greased 9-inch square baking pan. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into squares.
