- eggs - 2 item
- c sugar - 1/2 item
- c flour - 2 item
- c shortening - 1/2 item
- c molasses - 3/4 item
- c sour milk - 1 item
- t salt - 1 item
- t baking soda - 1 item
- t cinnamon - 1 item
- t cloves - 1/4 item
- t ginger - 1 item
How to make gingerbread:
Cream sugar and shortening with molasses. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with sour milk to creamed mixture. Pour into well greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350 F for 50-60 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
