German potato salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- salad oil - 3 Tbsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- hard-boiled eggs - 3 item
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- chopped, fresh parsley - 3 Tbsp
- fresh dill - 3 Tbsp
- very large potatoes - 4 item
How to make german potato salad:
Cook potatoes; peel and slice medium-thick. Combine with onions, dill and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Add cut up eggs.Heat oil, vinegar and sugar. Pour over potato mixture. Add garnish of cucumber slices and pickled herring, if desired.
