  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • miniature marshmallows - 1/2 pkg
  • beaten eggs - 2 item
  • container Cool Whip - 1 (8
  • pineapple juice
  • cans Mandarin oranges - 2 item
  • large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • large can chunk pineapple - 1 item
  • acini de pepe

How to make acini de pepe salad:

Combine sugar, flour, salt, pineapple juice and eggs. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Cool in refrigerator.

Cook acini de pepe. Boil (about 20 minutes) in salted water until tender. Drain and add to the sauce and let sit overnight, covered, in refrigerator. Add crushed pineapple, chunk pineapple, oranges, Cool Whip and marshmallows. Mix all together about 2 hours before serving.
