German potato bake
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Miracle Whip - 3/4 c
- green onion slices - 1/4 c
- crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled - 5 item
- Velveeta process cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
- cubed, hot, cooked potatoes - 4 c
How to make german potato bake:
In large saucepan, combine potatoes, 1/4 pound cheese and margarine. Stir over low heat until cheese is melted. Add 2 tablespoons bacon, 2 tablespoons onion, salad dressing, sour cream and pepper. Mix well. Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole. Top with remaining cheese, bacon and onions. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Bacon.
