German potato bake
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- salad dressing - 3/4 c
- green onions - 1/4 c
- Velveeta pasteurized process cheese spread, cubed - 1/2 lb
- jar chopped pimento, drained - 1 oz
- cubed hot cooked potatoes - 4 c
- crispy cooked bacon - 5 item
How to make german potato bake:
In a large saucepan combine potatoes, 1/4 pound process cheese spread and margarine; stir over low heat until cheese is melted. Add 2 tablespoons bacon, 2 tablespoons onions, salad dressing, sour cream, pimento and pepper; mix well. Spoon into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with remaining cheese spread, bacon and onions. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Bacon.
