water - 1 c
vinegar - 1/3 c
pepper - 1/4 tsp
medium diced onion - 1 item
cooked potatoes - 1 item
or 5 slices fried crisp bacon - 4 item

How to make german potato salad:

Combine first 6 ingredients and cook until thick. Pour over sliced potatoes, onion and fried crisp bacon, crumbled. Serves 6 or more.
