German coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar
- butter flavoring - 1 tsp
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- vanilla instant pudding - 1 pkg
- Wesson oil - 3/4 c
How to make german coffee cake:
Filling:1/2 c. sugar2 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. nuts Topping:1 c. powdered sugar3 Tbsp. milk1/2 tsp. butter flavoring1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix cake mix and instant pudding. Add milk, oil, flavorings and eggs. Beat at medium speed about 2 minutes. Pour half the batter in oblong cake pan. Combine sugar, cinnamon and nuts and sprinkle over batter. Then pour remaining batter over that. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Top with mixture of powdered sugar, milk, butter flavoring and vanilla while hot.Note: The butter flavoring is what really makes this cake good.
