- oil - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cloves garlic - 7 item
- red wine - 1 c
- roast rump or eye - 3 4
- beef broth College Inn - 1 c
How to make garlic pot roast:
Cut 3 of garlic cloves into slivers and put into meat. Brown meat on all sides in oil and chop onion and rest of garlic. Brown onion and garlic.Put meat in large pot. Add wine, beef, broth, salt and pepper. Also add browned onion and garlic. Bring to boil. Then reduce to simmer. Cook covered about 2 1/2 hours.
