- fresh chopped cilantro - 1 oz
- green pepper, cut - 1 item
- chicken, cut to pieces - 1 (3
- red pepper, julienned - 1 item
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Fry chicken in hot oil until brown. Do not cook through. Arrange chicken in baking dish. Saute with margarine, chopped onion, garlic, and chopped cilantro (lightly). Add salt and pepper. Add peppers and mushrooms to top of chicken. Pour tomato sauce and water over top and bake for an hour at 350° (gas 4).Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
