- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- can fruit cocktail, drained - 1 item
How to make fruit cocktail cake:
Mix by hand, sugar, flour, soda, salt and egg. Add drained fruit cocktail and mix until moistened. Put half of nuts in greased 8-inch pan. Add mixture and spread evenly. Mix brown sugar and rest of nuts. Spread on top. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
