Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/4 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- oil for frying - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese optional - 1 item
- large tomatoes almost green, sliced thick - 4 item
How to make fried tomatoes:
Heat the oil in skillet. Dip tomato slices in egg, then in flour. Brown on both sides. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese, if desired. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Low fat, Side dish, Vegetables.
