Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- carrots, diced - 2 item
- frozen peas, thawed - 1/2 c
- steamed rice - 3 4
- scallions, sliced to garnish - 1 item
How to make fried rice:
In a wok or deep skillet on medium heat, fry ground beef until light brown. Add onion and carrots. Cook about 5 minutes. Add cooked rice, green peas, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Cook another 5 minutes. Transfer into serving dish. Beat eggs and fry in medium-hot pan, moving side to side to make a thin layer. Remove from pan; dice and sprinkle on top of rice.
