  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • drops red food coloring - 6 item
  • 7-Up or Sprite - 2 c
  • wild strawberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
  • deep dish pie shells, baked and cooled - 2 item

How to make fresh strawberry pie:

Cook all ingredients together slowly, stirring all the while. Cook until mixture turns transparent; let cool completely. Pour mixture into pie shells that are filled with sliced or whole strawberries. Add Cool Whip when ready to serve.
