Hot mushroom dip
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- ground pepper - 1/8 tsp
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- slices bacon - 4 item
How to make hot mushroom dip:
Fry bacon over medium heat until crisp. Drain. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Add mushrooms to drippings and cook over medium heat until tender and most of mushroom liquid has evaporated. Mix in flour, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and garlic. Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and bacon.
