Hot mushroom dip
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- lemon pepper - 1/8 tsp
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- slices bacon - 4 item
- crackers - 1 item
How to make hot mushroom dip:
Fry bacon until crisp; drain, saving 2 tablespoons of drippings in pan. Crumble bacon and set aside. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic to drippings. Cook over medium heat until tender and most of the mushroom liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes. Mix in flour, salt and pepper. Add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Reduce heat to low and stir until cheese melts. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and bacon. Serve with crackers.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Low Carb.
