  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • evaporated milk - 2/3 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cooking oil - 1/4 c
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • well beaten eggs - 3 item
  • cooking apples, diced - 3 c
  • Use 2 9-inch pans

How to make fresh apple cake:

Mix in order given. Use 2 (9-inch) pans. Bake at 325° until done.Icing:1 stick margarine1 c. brown sugar2/3 c. evaporated milk Melt ingredients together. Stir and boil a few minutes. Spread over layers and top.
