  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • egg whites - 3 item

How to make french toast:

Beat egg whites with salt; add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored; add milk. Fold yolks in white mixture. Dip 8 slices of bread in mixture and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Turn and bake 5 minutes more.
