French onion soup
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- beef broth - 2 c
- Monterey Jack cheese - 1/2 c
- large onions, cut in rings - 2 item
- pieces toasted French bread - 2 item
How to make french onion soup:
Melt butter and saute onions. Add onions to beef broth; cook for 10 minutes. Pour into ovenproof bowls. Lay sliced French bread on top of soup. Sprinkle with cheese and broil until cheese is golden.Note: Published by Heritage Home for Children, P. O. Box 879, Milton, Florida 32572.
