Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- oleo - 1/4 c
- croutons - 1 item
- beef bouillon - 4 c
- thinly sliced onions
- sliced Swiss cheese - 1 item
How to make french onion soup:
Simmer onions and oleo for 30 minutes. Add flour and bouillon. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Pour over croutons in 6 oven-safe bowls. Lay slices of Swiss cheese on top. Broil until cheese bubbles. Serve. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, French.
