Five minute fudge
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- chocolate chips
- miniature marshmallows - 2 c
How to make five minute fudge:
Combine butter, milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Start timing when mixture starts to bubble around edge of pan.) Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir vigorously for one minute, until marshmallows melt and blend. Pour into 8-inch square pan; cool. Cut into squares.Peanut Butter Fudge: Omit chocolate chips and salt. Add 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy).
