Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- eggs, well beaten - 5 item
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- rum extract - 1 tsp
- coconut extract - 1 tsp
- butter extract - 1 tsp
- sticks margarine or butter - 2 item

How to make five flavor pound cake:
Cream the butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add extracts. Beat eggs until light and lemon colored. Add sifted together flour, baking powder and salt to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Spoon mixture into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan lined with greased brown paper (optional). Bake in a 325° oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until done. Add glaze, if desired, or cool in pan before turning out on a cooling rack.Glaze For Five Flavor Pound Cake:1 c. sugar1/2 c. water1 tsp. butter extract1 tsp. vanilla extract1 tsp. coconut extract1 tsp. rum extract1 tsp. lemon extract Combine ingredients in saucepan.
