  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • unsifted flour - 3 c
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp
  • rum extract - 1 tsp
  • coconut extract - 1 tsp
  • sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
  • butter extract - 1 tsp

How to make five flavor pound cake:

Cream butter or margarine, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flavorings. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix well, then pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake in 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 15 people.
