Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- unsifted flour - 3 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- rum extract - 1 tsp
- coconut extract - 1 tsp
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- butter extract - 1 tsp
How to make five flavor pound cake:
Cream butter or margarine, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flavorings. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix well, then pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake in 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
