Ingredients/Components
- lime juice - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/8 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- seasoned salt - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1 c
- container sour cream - 1 (16
- cans fat-free refried beans - 2 oz
- small can chopped olives - 1 item
- small, chopped tomato - 1 item
- ripe avocados, pitted and peeled - 3 item
- can chopped green chilies undrained; mild or hot - 1 item
How to make fiesta dip:
Divide onion; half will be for garnish and half for the avocados.In a bowl, mix the beans and chilies. Spread in a shallow dish or on a plate. In another bowl, mash the avocados; mix in salts, lime juice and half the onion. On top of the beans, spread the sour cream. Spread the avocado mixture on top of the sour cream. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Before serving, mix the cheeses together and layer over the avocado mixture. Garnish with tomato, olives and remaining onion.
