- stick butter - 1 item
- whipping cream - 1 pt
- medium onion - 1 item
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 2 c
- garlic cloves - 4 item
- fettucine pasta, cooked - 16 oz
- salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste - 1 item
How to make fettucine alfredo:
Melt butter in saucepan. Saute garlic (minced) and onion (chopped) in butter. Add 1 1/2 cups whipping cream to butter mixture and over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring until cream thickens. Add the drained and cooked fettucine pasta and the remaining cream. Toss in the cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Side dish, Vegetarian.
