English pea casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick butter - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 4 item
- bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can water chestnuts, chopped - 1 item
- small jar diced pimiento - 1 item
- 2 cans small English peas
How to make english pea casserole:
Saute onions, celery and bell pepper in butter. Drain liquid from one can of peas. Mix peas, liquid, sauteed vegetables, soup, water chestnuts and pimiento. Place in casserole dish and sprinkle crumbs over top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
